A nice pair with excellent color and detail on the male. Watercolor is quite pleasing. I think I’d add a tiny bit of canvas to the left side of the frame.

A great job on the male, Allen and I love the water in this image. For me, the female is in that uncomfortable zone between being in crisp enough focus to be part of the subject and being sufficiently out of focus to be part of the background, if that makes any sense.

If this is full frame you got nice and close. I like the similar poses for both. Looking at the settings i am not sure if you could have pushed the dof out far enough if you had had the time. I am also for a bit more room on left side.
