Green Grass (with guest)

Went back to the spring for this shot.

The Palm Warbler isn’t too distracting from the grass, is it?

Marc, the warbler peering out of the grass at you adds a fine touch to the sea of grass. I think moving the bird further to the right in the frame would look make the view feel more dynamic.

Nice depth of field. I think you could enlarge the image a bit and move it to the right as Mark states.

Mark: I like your plane of focus especially. Ditto Mark on wanting the bird positioned a bit more to the right. >=))>

No issue with this grass dominant scene. Cropping some from the right will strengthen your comp…Jim

All, I totally agree that the comp would usually be better with the warbler somewhere right of center. Since the theme was grass, I thought centering the subject made it seem more like it was lost in a sea of grass and cause more attention to be paid to the grass. Did that work?
