Description

I visited the local park pond yesterday where I have been seeing the kingfishers. A green heron came in close for us. And of course another diving kingfisher.

That heron looks like a teenager with his hair all slicked down for his first date, Allen. Nice job on the Kingfisher as usual.

Wow Allen those vibrant colors and sharp details of the green heron immediately stand out. The bird’s striking yellow eyes and legs create a strong contrast against the cool blue water, making the scene visually engaging. The heron’s stance on the log adds a sense of calm to the image.

The photo tells a simple, tranquil story of a quiet moment in nature, with the heron looking both alert and at ease. The overall composition and color harmony creates a serene mood, it makes me feel as if I was right there by the pond.
