Description
Gift Giver just continues to delight. The ends formed this natural heart and I couldn’t resist. It is still blooming as each bud slowly opens. >=))>
Specific Feedback
Took a different approach to this one. Shot it outside with an ivy wall as a BG and used a CLAR light to illuminate the blooms and buds. I like the more even lighting I can get with it vs a direct flash.

Oooh, this is nice! It’s more compelling than your white background version in Gift Giver. What is a CLAR light? Whatever it is, the light on this is great.
Wonderful!!! Amazing subject perfectly photographed with gorgeous lighting!! I’d be tempted to do a slight gradient burn on the lower half of the stem, but that is an incredibly small detail.
The lighting is perfect and you were able to get the highlights and shadows to be very subtle and delicate. I have no nits for your and like this awesome image…Jim
Oh, how cool is this, Bill! Perfect timing for it to provide you with a heart shape of blooms to photograph for Valentine’s Day. The light is wonderful. Everything about it. Nicely done.
What can I add here that hasn’t already been said? Quite eye-catching and at once intricate and simple. I’m reading a book about the natural history of seeds, and of course those are tied to flowering plants so it’s doubly interesting to me at this time. I’m also reading a book about octopuses, so if you have any of those you want to photograph…have at it!
