Gift Giver

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Our succulents are the gifts that keep on giving. This is Forked Tongue several days later. Our temperatures have risen substantially since the hard freeze of a couple weeks ago and the succulents and cacti are rejoicing. >=))>

Specific Feedback

Shot this in my bathroom studio against a white mat board exposed to render the BG pure white then added a touch of color and texture.

I love the high key look of this one, Bill. The composition works well though I could see giving it just a bit more room on both sides. The high exposure rendered the colors in the leaves and buds beautifully. I also like the texture you applied-looks like you got out the spackle gun and attacked the foam core.

Beautiful Bill! Not a single one shadow joined to a high exposure and a light saturation of the plant and flowers both help to create a very nice pictorial look and pastel colors. I love this image Bill.

Beautiful, Bill. I like the high key lighting used here. The plant is positioned nicely. I do agree with @Dennis_Plank that a little more room on both sides might help as it does feel a bit crowded. I also love the colors. Well done.
