The winds in the fall lead to the leaves on the ground. But other things fly also such as this Northern Harrier in Southwest Washington today on this very cold and foggy afternoon.

Hi David, this is a creative approach to this week’s challenge and works very well, especially against the pastel backdrop of gold and orange, which compliment the harrier’s colors. You caught this guy in a great position too, seemingly in active search mode, ready to swoop down on his next prey. Well done!
David: Terrific shot! I like that the bird is in the gap between the warm foliage. Many >=))>
David, the Harrier is nice and sharp and it’s colors blend in well with the oof fall colors background. A fine, novel interpretation of the challenge.
