From this morning. A bird I don’t get to see very often but this one was feeding and I was able to keep an eye on it and get some openings.

Well composed with nice detail and color. Excellent processing for higher iso. OOF BG adds interest.

Hi David, I agree with David’s comments - a fine image. I like the pose with the head turn toward us and the lighting and details look nice. I rarely see these birds either - a really nice find and capture.
