David, the depiction of movement here is very attractive. Getting some “splash” but not having the splashing in the wave fully filled in adds a lot to the feeling of movement. The non-splashing waves add well to the scene. I could see this as an inspirational poster.
Beautiful, David. Just the right amount of blur. With my left-to-right cultural bias, I’d be tempted to flip this horizontally-I think it would add some extra energy to the composition.
Perfect amount of blur. The curves of the waves and the lines of the water flow are restful. And at the same time, the dynamism of the breaking waves adds energy. I really like this photo.
