Though Mt.Cadillac isn’t iconic to me since I live in California, I was able to visit it this fall. The evening light and red cranberry bushes made this a wonderful vista.

Wow, this is an eye popping view, Kathy. The red leaves and that “brainy, organic” rock formation do a great job of grabbing attention and then leading my eyes out to the distant ocean. As one of the most visited National Parks in the USA, Acadia and Mt. Desert Island fit the “icon” bill.
