An oldie taken with my first DSLR in 2006. Had to do some serious search and rescue in the hard drive archives but this is one of my favorite spider images. Found this fairly large critter near the creek close to our house. All comments welcome. >=))>

I can see why this is your favorite Bill. At first I didn’t even see the spider. I was so caught up in the beautiful crystal water droplets. Only then as I followed the line of the droplets did I see the spider! Then saw the delightful rhythm and flow of the OOF web. Such a wonderful joy to see. Thanks for sharing it with NPN.

Bill, the infinity of the web shows very well and then you notice the spider. You did a fine job of positioning the camera to get both the web shape and the spider showing well.

I really like the angle you got on this one, Bill. It makes the web look very cool. I agree with Mark that the first thing I see is the geometry of the web, then the spider finally pops out, which makes the image even better.
