Been away for awhile. Working on my Music with friends trying to finish up. This Guy was flying around in the garden and I grabbed my camera with macro lens. He let me in real close. SURPRISE !!!.. So I took some shots. Just to Share. Catching up on the recent Images Here on the NPN.

WOW I have No WORDS. Just amazing images. I need to comment when I find some time.
BUT This is an AMAZING GROUP OF PHOTOGRAPHERS. This group is turning out STELLAR WORK… Just AMAZING !!!

Gil: I like this. “Gritty” is the first thing that crossed my mind. The perch works for me in concert with the BG. Nicely seen, composed and captured. >=))>

Gill, these Blue Dasher Dragonflies are often quite approachable. You did well with this one. His thorax is a bit overexposed, but that looks fixable since I do see detail there. His perch is good for a grin.

Thanks. He sat there and waitied for me. Shooting flying insects is a challenge… This image and others will be for my book “Covered Exposure”.. Just a Photo/Journal of this years images. For Fun.

Thanks. Flying insects can really make you work hard. He was pretty patient and I took a few Images. Always looking around in the Garden or the Park..
