An excellent view of this lesser Goldfinch with superb plumage detail, head Turn, setting and composition. I’ve only seen these in California. Nice job.

Hi Allen, I really like this type of behavioral image. It definitely tells a story for me and I like the setting too. Nice exposure on the bird and I like the composition/setting as a proper sense of place.

Story for sure - eat those dandelion seeds before they spread! Gorgeous little thing and a bird I’ve never seen before so thanks for bringing it to us. The bg is a bit bright, but not sure you could avoid it and I LOVE the low angle - so much immediacy!
