Light Caress

This little rose seemed so happy to be basking in the sun.

This was a single exposure so not tack sharp throughout, but I think a bit of softness goes well with this image and the feeling of it.

So in actuality this rose is red. There was a bit of tweaking of colors and saturation, some luminosity masking and adjustments. And of course the B&W conversion and Sepia toning. I use TK8 in addition to stock PS. Not sure how much clarity it offers, but this is what my layers look like in PS:

Great image and wow, lots of processing steps. Thanks for sharing that. I might consider cropping a bit off of the right so that the flower isn’t quite so centered looking…just a thought.

I think the B&W look really gives it an old fashioned feel. Nicely done.

Adam: Really nice conversion and well worth the effort. I’ll add my thanks for the look at the processing steps. That kind of detail in a post is very instructive and helpful. Well done. >=))>

Adam, I sure am coming in late on this one. Not sure how I missed such a shot. I like the B&W look. I agree that providing the processing steps is a nice way to help others. Well done.
