They were so swift that they used to catch the fish while flying and swallow it right there, mid air. The whole action was so fast that I didn’t notice the fish with naked eyes.
It was while reviewing images on the back screen, it came to my notice and then I went for it.

Wow, Jagdeep, I like everything about this image too. I love Snowy Egrets and their pretty yellow feet for starters, but what a stop action shot you nailed here. That poor little fish didn’t stand a chance.

Wonderful catch for you both!! It’s quite OK that you didn’t see it at the time – you had the talent, equipment and knowledge to capture it and used them well.
The whites are lovely but a few places look verging on blown – have you tried to tame them more? Maybe a linear profile?
