Description
One of the warblers that tell us spring is here. The mesquite trees haven’t quite leafed out yet, so the birds are not as hidden as usual.

Technical Details
Canon R6, Canon 100-500mm, 500mm, f/8,1/500 sec, ISO 320.
Removed some shadows in PS and the rest was in LR.
The light was pretty harsh, Charlie, but the detail in the bird is excellent. I think I’d take time to get rid of those bright out of focus branches behind the bird as they’re pretty distracting.

A nice look at the warbler and nicely positioned in the frame. Agree with Dennis about those branches and maybe also the one in front and behind the warbler.
Thanks for the feedback. I darkened the branches and also lowered the highlights on the warbler’s back. It really is a gray bird.
