Welcome back, Kurt. We’ve missed you around here. A great reintroductory image up to your usual standards. A wonderful landing pose, beautiful light and of course, gorgeous detail.
Hi Kurt, glad you joined us for this one. Hope you stick around. I like the V at an angle here with the feet straight down. It’s a bit more dynamic/energetic to me. Nice coloration through the wings and the slight transparency visible in the outer primaries. Sweet shot.

This is a fine image of a dynamic pose. As others have said, you got it in very good light. Well composed too.
