Hi Joey
I love this photograph. The only this you might look into is good noise reduction software.

Geese are plentiful and easy to photograph, but at least for me, I find it hard to get a compelling image of one. You nailed it here; the mist and water droplets really elevate the image.

A lovely image of this goose, Joey. The fog really makes this image for me.

I noticed that you posted another image in Avian about the same time. For future reference, you’re allowed to post one image per day in any given forum. We don’t hold a clock on you, but we do keep an eye on it. No need to worry about these two.

Hi Joey, nice mood with this foggy effect. Love the water drops coming off the beak. Painterly feel to this image.

Thanks. Rookie mistake on the posting. I thought I had posted the sparrow a couple of weeks ago, but apparently hadn’t checked all the boxes, so finished it up at the same time as posting the goose in the mist. Will pay more attention as I move forward.

No big deal, Joey. I sometimes miss that last step myself and don’t notice until I come back to the site to post something else.
