Moab Formations

Although there were ample opportunities for color images I found the shapes and light many times seem to lend themselves to B/W. I processed this with a bit of softness to emphasize the shapes more. I liked how the black holes somewhat mirrored the adjacent larger shapes as well.

This one has a real creepy feeling to it. Lots of intrigue. Good choice to go B&W.

I agree that this has a creepy factor. I think it comes from those two black door like shapes, one above the other. Somehow this image sounds like the work Moab to me. Very creative. Not many people come away with visions like this from that park.

When the rocks come to live. The stark contrast, the blacks and the whites, the mistery of the unusual rock formation, the movement of the lines make this image exit the rectangle. I love this original photo Mario.
