Morning dew on clover

Description

It was wonderfully cloudy this morning after a light rain yesterday, and I went out hoping for more raindrops, but things had dried up except for a few things right on the ground. This tiny clover tested my ability to get the tripod (and my body) low enough.

Technical Details

Minimal ( maybe no) adjustments in LR. Into Zerene for a focus stack of maybe 15-20. Only a little BG softening after.

Oh look at all that dew! The stack shows it off beautifully. I love the way the small flower are just covered in it. Nice arrangement of the leaves and the stem, too. I always find these guys hard to shoot because they wave around all over. One of the reasons I love our shared tripod is because it’s so portable and gets so low!

Outstanding, Diane! And here I was today just pulling up all of the clover that is popping up in our grass. Truly nicely seen and captured.
