Description
I’m always scouting muddy puddles for interesting objects. I liked the fact that tiny bubbles were forming around parts of the larger leaf…part of the process of plant decomposition. One leaf being almost completely submerged is an indicator of the gentle demise of the other leaf.
Specific Feedback
I liked the minimalist feel of this intimate scene and aimed to portray a sense of calm and mystery.
Is this what you feel as a viewer?

Sublime and mysterious. I like the b&w treatment that further separates it from the reality a color photo would bring. Did you experiment with pushing the contrast more? This might take it, but if it loses that silky tonality, leave it as is. Keep looking in those puddles.
Hi Diny,
Moody and mysterious; I am liking this intimate scene. At the same time this image has a dreamy soft mood to it that I find inviting. The minimalism works quite well here as does the conversion to B&W. This is not a critique because this is quite lovely as is, but I could also see this working with a little more contrast. I need to look down at my feet a little more often.
I like what you’re after in this image. The leaf on the right is more interesting to me. I’m not sure about the composition though. The equal distance between subjects and the frame (the centering) I would avoid if possible.
Very moody and somewhat mysterious. I like this a lot. The contrast in the leaves could be bumped up, but only a little. You might also consider cloning the two bubbles on the stem of the large leaf because they grab my eye.
Also, perhaps experiment with different crops from both sides, with a bit more on right side than the left.
This is an interesting and unique image. Nicely done!
