I have hanging suet block out back and every once in a while it will attract a flock of bushtits in to it… like this.

The square crop is great Dave. I’ve seen flocks of these little birds, but never in one place in those numbers in the open. Nice shot. Really cool.

Very neat image, Dave! The square crop works well to echo the square suet feeder.
Nice detail and poses, and great tree bark that adds a lot of interest.

Very cool, Dave. The square crop works just fine. I’ve seen groups of these moving around-usually families, since they have enormous broods, but this looks like it’s multiple broods or just winter flocking behavior. In either case, it’s always fun to see a mob like this and you photographed and presented it very well.
