Pieter: I envy you those walks and what a neat find. I would have never guessed this was a jellyfish. Marvelous shapes and wonderful soft colors. Well done.>=))>
Pieter,
Like Bill, I really had no idea this was a jellyfish… however, the brain connection comes thru loud and clear. I think even if you cropped in a little tighter, the abstractness of this would jump up even further.
Love the colors and the wide range of patterns. It quite literally could be a futuristic version of not only a brain, but some microscopic organism, DNA or some alien blob. Just so very cool! And the colors are so wonderful together.
Terrific eye to see and capture this. Wow, well done, love this.
Pieter,
This is just lovely. The patterns in Jelly as well as whatever it is doing to the sand under it are just mind-bendingly fantastic.
Oh, this is excellent! Jellyfish on the beach can be quite fascinating and great subjects. I’m with Lon on the crop - I think it would be even more abstract with a tighter crop.

Thank you so very much for your encouraging comments. I do take the point that cropping out the sand will make it “more abstract”. What I am wrestling with is whether I WANT it more abstract.
