My first Pyrrhuloxia

This was my first opportunity to photograph this bird in the wild. Very pleased to not only see several but to photograph them.

This is a beautiful photo, John! I love the pose of this cute bird. And the background is nicely bokehed. My only suggestion would maybe be to just crop a bit off the left, right and bottom just to make the bird a little more closer to eye level. Just my opinion. I really like the eye contact and feather details . Great capture!

Hi John. the colors look fine and I really like the pose and perch. The composition and background are also very good. My only nit is that nothing in the frame seems quite sharp which seems odd given the shooting parameters you used and being on a tripod.

Hi John
I like the framing, head turning eye contact. I agree with Dennis on the sharpness, how much did you crop this photograph g.
Peter

It is a significant crop. I did not run this through Topaz AI. Thank you for your c comments.
