Got this make in some nice morning light in Amado, AZ. Took this while I was still shooting Canon.

Gorgeous light, Kurt, and I love the little head turn. Looks like there’s a bit of bird doo on the perch that you could clean up if you felt like it. The background works very well.

I really like the head turn and eye contact on this Arizona Cardinal, (I had to look up Pyrrhuloxia). My only nit is the stump seems to be very bright and my eye keep moving to it. Nice shot.

The dark background works well to show off the bird and perch. Great detail, per usual, and nice pose.
Hi Kurt, I like the pose of the bird here - looks kinda grumpy to me! Contrasts well with the background. Pleasing image.
