Description
I did a four day spring workshop in Yosemite with Bill Neill and Alex Noriega. I had visions of capturing dramatic wide angle shots of the valley, full of mist and mystery. Instead we got four straight days without a single cloud in the sky. (OK, maybe there were a few little ones on one day). So the focus of the four days shifted to intimate scenes, patterns, textures, and filtered light thru the trees, reflected in the Merced river, etc. This image was one of a few dozen I came away with, content that although I didn’t see drama in Yosemite, I nonetheless saw great beauty.
