Hi Mike, I like your composition with the end of the foliage included and the bird to the right of the frame. Pleasing background. The bird is rendered nicely with sharpness throughout and good exposure. This is a common bird in my part of the country and I am always drawn most to the olive eyes which you have captured well.
Oddly, I miss mockingbirds even though they insisted on singing at the top of a tree, at the top of their lungs, right outside my bedroom window. It was their amazing babbling vocalizations and lively antics and I think you have caught that mischievous aspect. The foliage adds a lot and that we can clearly see the eye color is a real treat. So crisp and engaging. Super!
