Octave Luminescence

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This image is a close-up of leaves, with light falling across them to create a gentle contrast. The curves of the leaves are smooth and rhythmic, like harp strings, and the shades of light and dark give the scene a peaceful, easy feel. It’s a simple snapshot of nature’s quiet beauty.

Specific Feedback

Any feedback welcome

Beautiful composition, Saundie, and the depth of field seems perfect for the subject and lighting.

Your description is spot on. I like how you chose B&W. I don’t think color would have the same feel
