Old Patriarch Too

There is an old pine close to the old road in Grand Teton NP that is dubbed the Old Patriarch. It’s hard to find but I did discover it many years ago and got some good shots. This is not the same tree but I think it’s no less impressive and easier to find and get to. It’s in the Potholes area of the sage flats and can be seen from the main road. This old giant is all by itself with no other trees in sight for hundreds of yards. I got to spend a morning with it and even though the sky was featureless I still think this was a worthy scene. All comments welcome. >=))>

Bill, this is a good looking scene with the lone tree, the sage and the mountains behind. You’ve placed the tree well. It might be interesting to apply some haze reduction in Lightroom.
