The composition works very well for me - the straight line starts from foreground leading all the way to the tip. Back background keeps the petal isolated. I like the color tones gradually increase from the bottom of the petal to the tip. I would remove a small red spot to the right of the image.

Thank you Ravi for taking the time to comment and for the good advice

Mysterious and innovative. Quite a combination of elements came together with great lighting to provide you with this moment. An interesting and thought provoking image. Well done.

Mike: Not sure I could put it any better than Patricia. I especially like the lighting and the comp. Top notch. >=))>

Thank you Patricia, I really appreciate your opinions :))

Many thanks Bill. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment. Always appreciated.

A lovely abstraction! I love the darker gradient at the base. You might also remove the very thin line of a brighter petal edge below the red dot, but that’s a small thing. This is the sort of image that can be interpreted many ways and I wonder about a version with little less contrast – just a little.

Hi Diane ,Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been traveling. Thank you for your input I will look at these suggestions. I appreciate your input
