Description
On my routine garden patrol this morning I spotted this small group of morning glories. I was set up for a stack and had the focus magnifier on another part of the scene when the flowers shook pretty violently. I got out of the magnified view and was delighted to see this skipper dropping in for breakfast. I fired off one shot and off he went. I was lucky it just happened to be in the focal plane I was working at the time. He did it once more but he was a little OOF and I couldn’t adjust before he left for good. >=))>
Specific Feedback
I’m pretty pleased with the focus on the skipper even though it’s not quite as sharp on the eye as I would like. Keeper?

Bill, beautiful flowers and a great unexpected visitor, aall in perfect focus (as always)
That light blob in the upper left is a minor distraction, for me
I didn’t know morning glories came in this soft pink… the ones invading our gardens and causing Jim such grief are only white or purple.
Very good, Bill. Glad you were using fairly good depth of field even though you intended to stack as it kept the skipper and a good portion of the flowers in nice focus. A nice composition as well.
Wonderful!!! Color, sharpness, composition – all top notch! That skipper saw its chance and went for it!! What would you think about a subtle blur on the buds on the left? A small thing and maybe just my OCD coming out.
Bill, I don’t know how I missed seeing this one. What a beauty. I love the group of flowers, the color is beautiful. The Skipper makes for a nice party crasher, I wouldn’t mind that at all. Nicely done.
