Awesome image, Mike. I’m always so fixated on trying to get it all in focus that it never occurred to shoot at an angle like this. It made for a wonderful geometry and a gorgeous overall image.
This really caught my eye. Such a perfect web, a rare find. Composition is great with the strong leading line coming in from the LL corner. Super sharp focus on the central area of the web, which is well placed. The droplets are almost too perfect to be real. Great photo.
Thanks @Shirley_Freeman@Chris_Baird and @David_Bostock . I was pleasantly surprised that the stack came out sharply as even the slightest wind can adversely effect web shots.
Late to the party, but I’ll echo what everyone else said - awesome! I get a feeling of rotation, not necessarily a vacuum. More like a whirlpool. Love, love, love the water drop bokeh.
