Description
I have a large schotia tree growing near my back deck. At the moment its covered in red flowers that attract all sorts of birds. Today the noisy birds reminded me of a folder I have on my computer that’s chockers wth lorikeets. This image taken in 2016 but reworked today.

Well that’s just exquisite. Were these two taken from the same back deck? If so, I’m truly jealous you have beauty so handy.
The detail at full size is a joy, and pose the two strike works so well. The blurred background allows the eye to really lock onto the birds. No nits from me.
This is gorgeous, Glennie. The interaction fits the title beautifully and the composition and image quality are excellent.
Thank you @John_Williams and @Dennis_Plank .
John, The tawny was taken at the front verandah and the lorikeets from the back deck. I had a waddling of ducklings under my cloths line this morning. It’s all happening here at the moment.

Wow just wonderful Glennie. The interaction you caught is terrific. Colors and sharpness look great and the background is pleasing. Very nice.
What a gorgeous image – perfection all around!! Do you do workshops on your property? If so, sign me up!! It sounds like a paradise!
Beautiful image, Glenys. I like the interactive pose and the colors really pop and the detail is excellent. I’m envious of the birds you have in your country, but to see them in your backyard!
