I deliberately used a shallow DOF making only a smaller part of the subject sharp. Does it work?

Ola, the water drop (and it’s details) stand out, as does the red tip of the leaf. Nicely seen.

I like the composition of this Ola, and the shallow depth of field works. It’s interesting how much it shows the depth of the leaf. Very nice work.
