Description
I’m pretty sure this is an adult female Blue Dasher but even if it’s not I’m calling her that just for the sake of the title. I’ve watched her perching on this little garden statue for the past few days but yesterday she sat still long enough and kept coming back so that I got a number of shots.
Specific Feedback
I shot this at f32 in order to make the BG wording recognizable. If I look real hard I might see some diffraction issues but I may be imagining.

Very nice, Bill. Nice details in the DF and the BG makes for a nice setting for her to take time and reflect (on whatever dragonflies reflect on). It looks like you and Chrissy have provided a nice place for little critters like her to relax in. I think f32 worked well with this.
This is great Bill. Thank you for the Memorial Day message. Many of us are fortunate to live here. Nice image of the blue dragonfly too. Just enough depth to get the BG message.
A very timely image here on Memorial Day, Bill. Thank you for sharing this scene. A salute goes out to all who have served…
Thanks Paul. My wife Christine and I are both Air Force veterans. It was a privilege to serve. >=))>

Small world, Bill. I spent 4 years Air Force active duty from 66-70. I worked 2 years on the DEW Line in Alaska from Shemya in the Aleutians clear up to Point Barrow at the top of the state and everywhere in-between.
A Memorial Day thank you for your service to you & your wife Christine.

Very nice, Bill. The dragonfly is awesome and I’ve never yet been bothered by diffraction issues at small apertures. A nice memorial day message as well.
This is wonderful! The dragonfly looks like a tiny bronze statue, as does the flag!
I add my heartfelt thanks to everyone who had made this the strong and free country it is.
Bill, she’s clearly a patriot, especially with her well coordinated name. I’ve done lens testing on several of my lenses at every f-stop from 16 - 32 and while at 100% magnification I could see subtle differences between f/22 and f/32, they were modest enough that they’re unlikely to be seen at NPN posting sizes.
