The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Here’s another (and I have lots, it’s a fun, contemplative experience…) look at the rippled reflections from just below the cascade into my pond. In this case there are also some refractions (yellows) from the acorns and leaves sitting on the bottom.
Specific Feedback
I see two “types” of looks, ones like this where the “segments” are reasonably clear (needing a faster shutter) and others that I’ll post later where there’s more blurring (shutter speeds below 1/100 s).
Technical Details
R5, 180 mm macro, 1/1000 s, f/5, iso 6400, tripod. LR noise reduction.

Completely different from your previous two, Mark and I like this a lot. The slightly soft look is very appealing and the feeling of flow comes across more than the previous images you’ve posted.
Now I really love this one, Mark. The many different soft shapes and colors captured in this is just nice. I am enjoying your collection of these ripples and reflections from your pond. Looking forward to more.
At 1/1000 of a sec, and there is still that motion. I knew this was water, but I keep thinking more like fish or snake scales. The pattern in the middle has the regular feel to it like an animal. I do like the tones across the frame. Though, I would like to see more of that red curve in the ULC. It balances nicely with the spots of yellow in the other parts. Just would like to see a little more.
Oh, and just looked at the others in this set. All cool. Though, I think I like the tones and flow of the overall lines on this one more. Just my opinion. Keep at it, seems like it won’t get boring for a while – for you or us.
Mark: What, no stack on this one . Marvelous color although the relatively bright orange in the ULC does pull my eye a bit. The deeper tones work really well throughout the rest of the frame. I never get tired of shots like this that are totally unique and never repeatable. Great series. Keep 'em coming. >=))>
