This scene reminds me of the ocean beaches we have here on Long Island, and how difficult it can be to capture their beauty.

To my eye the left side of the frame is much stronger. With a crop to vertical and some adjustments in LRC, this is what I came up with;

The tidal pools are beautiful, especially with reflections from a dramatic sky!

Ulbe: I do see where @Jim_Erhardt is coming from. I like the overall scene and the soft color palette. My other suggestion would be to get the horizon line out of the center. The open sky above the clouds could be reduced a fair amount and bring more attention to the FG pools and sand textures. >=))>

Ulbe, the long view down the shore captures the sense of a quiet beach very well. What I notice the most is the strong color shift across the sky. The blues on the left speak well to the quiet of the scene. Both crop suggestions, help to reduce the effect of the light in the sky.
