I got this female anna’s working our Cleveland sage blossoms which was a bit of a challenge. She didn’t stay in one spot much.

I realize it’s a pretty busy setting but I thought pose was interesting enough to endure the less than ideal BG. What say you?

Any time you can photograph a Hummingbird is a good day. The background is fine with me, my only nit would to bump up the overall exposure just a bit. Nice work.

A nice catch of the hummer, Dave, It’s from an interesting angle which adds to the appeal. The background doesn’t bother me since it all appears to be sage.
Hi Dave, I like the pose of the hummingbird with it angled towards us and the wings forward. Really gives me a sense of the bird digging into that flower. I think the background is alright giving us that “in the garden” feel. One nit would be to have an eye catchlight. Good catch.
