I like the lighting on this one. It adds a nice feel to the image and the subject stands out nicely…Jim

Sandy: You had to be pretty close with a 90mm and this is excellent. Another great single capture. Bravo! >=))>

@Sandy_Richards-Brown - you caught the eye wonderfully, and the flower is well-lit without rivalling the wasp. My only small suggestion is to lighten the wings somehow as they are a bit obscured - maybe with the Adjustment Brush in Lightroom. Lovely composition!

All around great sot. I can see the hair on the back of his neck standing up, just like mine !!! LOL Nice color contrast , yellow and green with a hint of pink flower.

Really nice, Sandy. Wonderful details in the wasp. Hats off to you for getting out there in the heat and shooting! It’s not quite that hot here, and I am not ready to go out with my camera.

Sandy …love the way the wasp is hugging the flower. Beautiful detail, and fine light

Really great DOF, detail and lighting on this bembix (sand) wasp Sandy (green eyes). These are the favorite food source for my son’s velvet ants (mutillids). 106 in Trinity Center is crazy hot. Seems like summer is here. We used to go backpacking in the Trinity Alps from that side up on Swift Creek and the Stuart’s Fork of the Trinity River.

Ed, thanks for the comments and correction! I’ll update the title
