Delton: I’ve only been to Mesquite Flats once but it is immediately recognizable. I have a shot from this vantage point but in calm winds. I really like your take on the conditions and your comp. Being able to see a hint of the BG mountains through the blowing sand is a real treat. Very nice conversion as well. :+1: :+1:>=))>

Beautiful image, Delton. I’m quite partial to photographing dunes myself, and really enjoy the patterns and textures in this image. A slight nit, but I would soften the top left hand corner, by either lowering clarity and/or texture, and perhaps applying a negative dehaze there as well. The texture there distracts my eye from the rest of the scene; just a thought. Nice work!
