Silhouettes and Shadows

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Redbud leaves are fun subjects and I shoot a lot of them but rarely post. The way the light was hitting this on this morning made me think it was a worthy subject. >=))>

Oh yes, Bill. Lots of lines, shapes and texture in this one. I like the way the light is hitting it.

Definitely worthy, Bill. This is a really cool image. I love the intricate detail in the leaf and the shadows are awesome. Very well conceived and executed.

This image just pulled my eyes right in to IT !!! The Light in this image is so Good.
The lines and composition really shine. I love the framing. You ran it off the edges and no need to show the entire leaf. Very cool. !!!

Definitely compelling!! I love the intricate patters in the backlighted portion and the dramatic raking light in the front-lighted portion. Redbud leaves are definitely cool and you chose a very interesting crop. No nits!!

Definitely some great light coming through on the leaf Bill. Real nice. Possibilities to play with which might enhance…make the shadow on the upper portion slightly darker…or try it in black and white where you can push the dark and light contrasts more than color.
