Hi Dan, love the colors of the bird’s head and throat. A real stunner. Nice perch and background. There seems to be a good bit of noise on the lower part of the bird and middle of the perch. Maybe just need to back down on the sharpening there.
Lovely image, Dan. Ilove the curves of the perch and you caught some great gorget colors. I can only see a bit of noise in your full resolution image, so unless you’re printing this at some ridiculous size, I wouldn’t worry about it.
Excellent pose, perch, and detail. Superb background. I like the crop and composition. If it were mine I might cut down a tiny bit on the gorget saturation especially the magenta, purple, red components. This is a matter of taste and certainly the current image is within the realm of reality.
