The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This image was taken three days ago in Shenk’s Ferry Wildflower Preserve, PA. We made the trip hoping to capture some images of the Virginia Bluebells, Mayapples, Trilliums and other wildflowers, but the constant light breeze kept them in a constant state of motion so we concentrated on the lovely spring colors leafing out on the trees. My oldest daughter told me about the preserve after spending the weekend with her hiking group in the area. It is a place I will return to.
Specific Feedback
I was wondering how the overall color balance looks as the raw file had a magenta tint. I wound up adding 10 points of green with the color balance slider to arrive at this point. There were also some areas on the trees that were darker so I lightened them up some. Did I go far enough?
Technical Details
Nikon Z 7, Nikon 24-200 @ 200 mm, f 13 @ 1/25 sec, ISO 100, Kase magnetic CPL, cable release & tripod.

Ed, I gave it a try and worked on it with my bad eye sight . Some more contrast and also light in the yellows. I think there is more spirit in the image now. Hope you like it.. Ben
Lovely. The emerging spring colors really give autumn a run for its money!
I think your color balance is spot on and I think the overall colors and saturation are quite natural. Then there are the subjective variations which Ben shows nicely. I like the pop/vibrance, but perhaps the shadows and midtones are slightly dark. I’d say somewhere in between would be really nice.
Visually I’m having a little trouble with this due to the “buds”. Botanically speaking, I don’t know what they’re referred to, but I’ll call them buds - which are not leaves yet. Anyway just because of the nature of their fuzziness, it makes me think there’s blur or motion. Not sure if that makes any sense and clearly nothing to do with your photograph or composition, just the nature of nature…
Don’t have any suggestions or nits. I do really like you’ve pretty much filled the frame with emerging spring.
The overall composition and flow are quite appealing. I very much like the direction that @Ben_van_der_Sande took this, although maybe with just a tad less contrast.
I noticed that too. Not good or bad, just interesting.
