Wow. Good photo. It looks like even the top gull is amazed at the bottom gull. And it is a perfect ad for not turning your back on the ocean. Nice and sharp, lots of detail and exposure is spot on. I assume it is cropped but even so at 200mm you got very close to the action. Perhaps a bit tight on top.

Now that’s not your average Gull shot. How long did it take to get this photograph? What ever the time, your patience was worth it. Great action and reaction.

A very cool frame, Dan. The relative positions and poses of the two gulls is great. Compositionally, I think some more canvas on the top would help take this over the top.
This is sensational , Dan ! The expression of the sitting gull is priceless. Well done ! A bit of added canvas may enhance the overall quality i.m.h.o. Other than that: great !Cheers, Hans
