A fall view of Tangled Creek as it leaves the Firehole lake area of Yellowstone. The blue sky reflecting in the water and the golden grasses make for a striking scene.

Mark, that’s a fine sunny entry for the WC. I thought it was too cramped on the LHS, but I see your reasons for the framing to minimize the roadway.

Very nice complementary colors, Mark. The blues are outstanding…

Mark, a perfect example of CC’s for this weeks WC…:+1:

Superb complementary color with terrific leading lines. And a beautiful day on top of it.

nice shot taken outside the golden hours. The comp is very nice with the leading line of the Stream. What’s the smoke off in the distant trees?

This is a lovely combination of blues and golds and the stream makes for the perfect lead in line to draw me into the scene, Mark.

Michael, that “smoke” is the hot mist rising from Firehole lake (a major source of this creek).
