The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I rarely manage to spend enough time in places with good autumn color, but a trip to Tennessee several years ago resulted in some brief encounters. The “real thing” wasn’t as exciting as what I felt so I did some artistry to bring out what was there to my eye but not to the camera.

A lovely composition, Diane. I don’t know what you did in processing, but I like the effect. Opening the larger image was a surprise as the kind of stained glass looking sky segments didn’t come through in the smaller image and they add a twist that I find intriguing.
Gorgeous, Diane! I agree that autumn leaf photos are often “not that exciting” and you’ve added some real zip very effectively. I especially like the vertical bands of color, interestingly broken up by the “stained glass”.
Diane, this is such a nice piece of artwork. I love the vibrant colors and the stained glass effect. The three main trunks provide a solid anchor for the swirl of color. Great work.
When I saw the small thumbnail, I thought it might be ICM. The I became really interested, because it was something else completely. The three white trunks really balance out against the red on the right. Many times when shooting up into trees, the sky becomes a distraction. Here, with your processing, it becomes a strong part of the overall image. And as Dennis said, the stained glass look is pretty cool. Nicely reimagined.
