The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
We back on the Four Mile River and this is the same Egret from the last post, landing in that light beam. It’s part of a 6 frame sequence, witchI will show at another time. I thought this should be the high lighted frame.
Thank you for stopping by.
Peter
Ps: I added a re-post in here. (I used a Auto Mask in DXO PhotoLab to bring up the showed body.)

High Lighted is an apt description of this one, Peter. Gorgeous lighting throughout. I know the body is in shadow and I expect it to be darker than the rest, but I think bringing the shadows up just in the bird might make this image even better than the wonderful one it already is.
HI Dennis & Allen
Thank you for your comments and input. I went back into DXO PhotoLab and used an Auto Mask to bring up the showed body some.
There is a repost.
Peter
I do like the repost better, Peter. I took the liberty of labeling which was which in your post and adding “Repost” to the title. When you go into the edit mode to add a repost, it helps to do that so people can distinguish the repost from the original.
I love the light play through the wings. Dig it a lot @Peter. I must not have a discerning enough eye as I can’t really tell a difference between the post and repost.. However the original you have posted is gorgeous. I especially like the Egrets neck feathers ruffled and imperfect.. Feels more real than cookie cutter images
What a great image this one is! That extendd neck and wings are wonderful. I love seeing the primaries and coverts flared like that. I think it shows the strength and agility these birds have. I also see the pose as quite amusing.
