The Green Hunstsman

The last two days had a drastic increase in temperature which went up by 4C, and crossing 30 Degree C.
The croton plant at my house came up with atleast 4 different species of spiders at different times of the day, and a few other insects, which i will post in due course.

This one is a green huntsman spider, venomous, and seeing for the first time.

I held up a shade from the sun, and use a flash with diffuser to get this one. The light had a secondary diffuser of the colored leaves around

Am now faced with a problem of a “same old canvas” even though it looks nice.

Wow, Balan, that is some interesting lighting on this little guy. He looks like he is walking through fire. Glad you are getting some spiders to visit you. I have one tiny little jumping spider that has made his home on a Black-eyed Susan. I hope to share a series of photos soon of him posing for me. Hope you get some more great shots of your spiders.

A really neat photo. It looks like a creature coming out of a volcano riding on the lava. I like how the hot colors are carried over onto the spider. A very nice head on pose and excellent focus on the eyes.
