Chris: Challenging light but the kind of stuff I like to work with. In the field I would have considered a touch of fill flash to open the shadows a bit but some tweaking in ACR can bring out some detail. I also cloned away the brightest bokeh spots. At first I didn’t like the color washes in the upper corners but on further review they work for me and are a nice complement to the bright light on the subjects (which look like Gerbera daisies to me). Nicely done. >=))>

They very well could be Gerber Daisy’s. Flower ID is not my strong suit. I was shooting with a basic Nikon camera with basic kit lenses and was lucky to even get what I got…fill flash wasn’t an option. A reflector card might have helped but I had nowhere to put one and no one to hold one.
