Description

I snagged this male anna’s guarding our hummingbird feeder in the midmorning sun. I am forever fascinated by iridescent, ever changing head feathers in the sunlight.

Cropping? Is is too centered horizontally?

Very good detail, Dave. The full sun blew out some of the gorget feathers that were at the wrong angle, but that’s tough to avoid.

Nice pose and detail. The comp works. I like how the background complements the hummer.
