This is sharper than your usual style, Gigi, but I wouldn’t call it overdone. In this case the fine detail in the texture of the petals is a large part of the beauty of the image, so I think you’re just about right.

This is a fine display of your mastery of lighting. A very beautiful image.

I think the sharpness makes this particular image, Gigi - the flow of the petals is beautifully accentuated by the lines of the petals.

Wonderfully presented. The sharpness is fine and the lighting and composition superb.

Gigi, this is an outstanding look at an aging tulip. The lighting shows off both it’s colors and the changes in shape as the tips of the petals are starting to wilt.
